Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Ireland

The Rilion Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Association Ireland, located in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal, is a full time martial arts academy dedicated to providing students with quality training in brazilian jiu jitsu (BJJ), self defence and mixed martial arts (MMA). Classes are taught by Rilion's students and are aimed at all ages, from kids to adults. Classes are designed to teach self defence, womens self defence, fitness and competition. Gracie jiu jitsu was founded by Rilion's father, Carlos Gracie Sr., in the 1920's and has been proven to be the most effective form of self defence ever developed. Rilion himself is widely recognized as one of the best jiu jitsu practitionors in the world known for his skill and technique.

Gracie jiu-jitsu is a martial art and combat sport that promotes the principle that a smaller,weaker person can successfully defend themselves against a bigger, stronger assailant using leverage and proper technique; most notably, by applying joint-locks and chokeholds to defeat your opponent. Brazilian Jiujitsu can be trained for self defense, sport grappling tournaments (gi and no-gi) and mixed martial arts (MMA) competition.
